More about serving
Do I need to be qualified? You don’t need to be a professional to get involved. God calls people from all walks of life and everyone can have a part to play in God’s redeeming work in the world.
What ways can I serve? Through Jesus, we seek to bring meaningful, lasting transformation in the lives of those with whom we work. This can be; starting a business, working in medicine, ministering to refugees, assisting immigrants with language classes, teaching and so much more.
Where We Serve Interserve workers serve in Asia, the Arab world, and among migrant communities in Aotearoa New Zealand.
In partnership with local colleagues, we share our skills and experience to tackle marginalisation and disadvantage. We serve mainly in places where there are very few followers of Jesus, spiritual and physical needs are the greatest and the church is small or persecuted. We seek to bring tangible hope to people’s lives in practical ways.
